Revision – how do I start?

  • Identify your “why,” your passion, and your purpose.
  • Every champion had to by faith develop their potential.
  • Taking action fuels your faith.
  • The solution to being overweight is nutrition – what you eat when you eat, and how much you eat.
  • The solution to lack of muscle mass, mobility, strength, and fitness is physical training/exercise.
  • Insulin stores your processed food as energy.
    • First in your liver: primary source, instantly available.
    • Secondly in your muscle: utilized once the primary source is depleted.
    • Thirdly as fat: only available at a moderately elevated heart rate, with no insulin present; only once both 1 and 2 are depleted. It is difficult to exercise away fat.
  • You exercise to increase muscle mass and fitness.

Exercise Hierarchy

  1. Health first
  2. Mobility
  3. Strength
  4. Performance
  5. Physique last

Beginner and intermediate should focus on 1,2 and 3 first.

Fitness = sustained elevated heart rate = cardio. Strength = resistance training.

WE JUDGE OTHERS BY THEIR ACTIONS, WHILE WE JUDGE OURSELVES BY OUR INTENTIONS. – CRAIG GROESCHEL
