Stay clear of the Standard American Diet [SAD] – eat whenever, whatever, as much as you want. Your lifestyle choices contribute to your lifestyle diseases. Your health is not valued until sickness comes.

NUTRITION INTRODUCTION | TIPS

Three Levers to Master your Nutrition:

  1. When you eat – fasting and time-restricted feeding.
  2. What you eat – quality.
  3. How much you eat – quantity.
  • Cut out sugar and carbonated drinks.
  • Fasting and time-restricted feeding.
  • Replace vegetable/ sunflower oil with olive oil/ coconut oil.
  • Increase protein consumption.
  • Reduce refined carbohydrates.
  • Eat MORE nutrition-dense foods i.e meat, vegetables and fruits.
  • Eat LESS processed food, most containing ingredients you can’t even pronounce.
  • Drink more water – at least 2L a day.
  • Moderation is key! In general, we eat way too much, too frequently, and often poor quality foods.
  • Remember if the majority of your meals are healthy, then you will make progress towards your goal.
  • Don’t beat yourself up if you over-consume/ mess up on one day. Just get right back to your next meal being healthy.
  • You are unique. Don’t be afraid to experiment, find the correct fuel for YOUR optimal performance. Optimal nutrition is fuel for purpose. Be very cautious of fad diets.
